Is my snake plant reproducing?

My snake plant seems to have produced an adorable little sprout. At what stage should I separate and repot it?

You don't have to divide them until the pot is completely full. Hell for that matter you don't even have to do it then, the snake plant will happily destroy the pot and bust out on its own.
